Prince Abdullah Saad Abdulaziz Al Saud spoke about the Parisian star, expressing a desire to see Mbappé play in Saudi Arabia. “Would I like to see Mbappé play in Saudi Arabia someday? Of course, we would love that. Mbappé is an excellent player, strong, and I hope to see him play in Saudi Arabia for any team in our league,” stated Abdullah.
The director of the Saudi league, Michael Emenalo, had also discussed the player earlier, saying, “With Mbappé, the conversation is open, but we don’t know what he wants to do. Our position is very clear: all players of this caliber know where we are. If there is a possibility or interest for Mbappé to be part of what we are building, today or in the future, we cannot reject that possibility. He is a player I like.”
However, it appears that Kylian Mbappé is not currently considering a move to Saudi Arabia. Before contemplating such a move, he would likely want to demonstrate his full potential in Europe, especially since he has yet to achieve success at the club level.
With the doors open in Saudi Arabia towards the end of his career, the French forward might reject a significant offer from Paris Saint-Germain to join Real Madrid, which presents an enticing winning project. Real Madrid holds on to the hope that, given the recent setbacks and sporting failures at PSG, staying with the French club could hinder Mbappé’s career progression.
