Vinicius Enjoys the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix at Monza as Max Verstappen Triumphs
Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. graced the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix at Monza on Sunday, where Max Verstappen secured his 10th consecutive victory. Checo Perez claimed the second spot on the podium, and the home crowd had reason to cheer as Carlos Sainz completed the podium.
Vinicius’ Monza Expedition: The talented football star attended the Monza circuit as a guest of the Alpine team, receiving both a grid pass and a VIP pass to fully immerse himself in the experience. His presence generated considerable excitement, with Vinicius enthusiastically snapping numerous photos before the race commenced.
Vinicius had the opportunity to engage in conversations with fellow drivers, including Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly, as he shared on his Instagram account. Accompanying him was his compatriot Gabriel Bortoletto, who clinched the F3 championship during the weekend and is a driver in the Fernando Alonso academy.
Notably, Vinicius, who is in the process of recovering from a muscle injury sustained against Celta on August 25, was observed walking without any evident discomfort or limp—a significant development considering the injury occurred just nine days prior. Although his anticipated return is set for five weeks from now, there is optimism that with a cautious approach and favorable progress, the initial recovery period may be shortened.
