Real Madrid Player Unhappy and Expresses Desire to Leave in January
Unhappy Real Madrid Player Contemplates January Exit Amidst Strong Start to the Season
Real Madrid has kicked off the season with an impressive six-game winning streak. Despite less-than-stellar performances on the field, they’ve managed to secure victories, thanks in part to the stellar addition of Jude Bellingham to their squad.
However, not all players at Santiago Bernabeu are content with their current situations. Some are eyeing an exit in the near future, including Kepa Arrizabalaga, who arrived on a season-long loan following Thibaut Courtois’s injury.
According to reports from Fichajes, Andriy Lunin, who had been benched due to Kepa’s arrival, has grown impatient and is considering ending his tenure at Santiago Bernabeu this January.
Lunin, a highly-rated young goalkeeper, has seldom seen consistent playtime with Real Madrid, mostly appearing in early Copa del Rey rounds or during Courtois’s absences. With Kepa taking the starting goalkeeper spot, Lunin, now 24 years old, may need to depart Real Madrid to pursue regular playing opportunities. His current contract expires in the summer of 2024, making the upcoming January transfer window the club’s last chance to secure a transfer fee for his departure.
