Neither Miami nor Ibiza: Lewandowski’s new home is on an island of 3,640 kilometers, featuring a 1,436-meter mountain and a Gothic church from 1229
Robert Lewandowski Chooses Mallorca Over Miami or Ibiza for New Luxury Home
FC Barcelona striker invests in exclusive villa on one of Spain’s most sought-after islands
While many elite footballers opt for destinations like Miami or Ibiza, Robert Lewandowski has chosen a different path. The Barcelona striker has purchased a second luxury property in Mallorca, reinforcing his strong connection to the Balearic island.
Located in the upscale area of Camp de Mar, in the southwest of the island, the villa is a high-end residence featuring six bedrooms, 700 square meters of living space, multiple terraces, and uninterrupted sea views. The deal was reported by Bild and RTL, although the price remains undisclosed — and is expected to be significant given the exclusivity of the location.
Mallorca itself is a prime Mediterranean destination, covering 3,640 square kilometers, home to landmarks such as the Puig Major (1,436 meters high) and the impressive Palma Cathedral, whose construction dates back to 1229.

A long-standing love for the island
Lewandowski has been vacationing in the Balearic Islands for over a decade and considers the region an ideal place for relaxation and family life. His bond with Mallorca grew even stronger during the pandemic, and this latest purchase confirms his commitment to the island.
The Polish forward had already been spotted there frequently during his time at Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, long before joining Barcelona.
A second home in a dream location
This is not Lewandowski’s first investment in Mallorca. Back in 2021, he purchased another luxury property in Santa Ponça, also located in the Calvià area — a region he particularly enjoys.
That property is now estimated to be worth around €3.5 million. Beyond his homes, Lewandowski is known to explore the island by bike, especially in scenic areas like Sa Calobra in the Serra de Tramuntana.
Mallorca: A top destination
Mallorca is the largest island in Spain, located about 180 km from the Iberian Peninsula. With more than 550 kilometers of coastline and over 300 beaches, it has become a premier tourist destination — not just for travelers, but also for celebrities and athletes.
The island’s main city, Palma de Mallorca, is home to over 400,000 residents and serves as the capital of the Balearic Islands. Other important towns include Inca and Manacor, the birthplace of Rafael Nadal.
With its mix of natural beauty, exclusivity, and tranquility, it’s easy to see why Mallorca continues to attract global stars like Lewandowski — and why it has become his preferred escape. 🌴⚽
