Rüdiger Praises Endrick: “You Have a Talent Like No Other” After His Last-Minute Goal
The Brazilian striker Endrick continues his remarkable scoring streak, with his latest goal already etching his name in Real Madrid’s history.
In their 2024/2025 Champions League opener, Real Madrid defended their European title with a 3-1 win against Stuttgart. Despite a shaky start, where the German side threatened to upset the reigning champions, Real Madrid regained control in the second half, thanks in part to a stellar performance from Courtois, who kept them in the game.
Mbappé opened the scoring after a Rodrygo assist, but Stuttgart equalized soon after. With the match hanging in the balance, Rüdiger’s header gave Madrid the lead, and in the final minute, Endrick sealed the victory with a goal.
This was Endrick’s first Champions League goal, coming just 10 minutes after he entered the match. He had already contributed an assist to Vinícius before netting the third goal of the night, replicating his recent success against Valladolid in nearly identical fashion.
Rüdiger, who has been particularly impressed with Endrick’s scoring ability, approached the young Brazilian after the match. “You have a talent for scoring goals like I’ve never seen in my life,” the German defender told Endrick, praising his knack for finding the back of the net.
A Historic Goal
Endrick’s goal has already made history at Real Madrid. The young Brazilian surpassed Raúl González as the youngest forward to score in an international competition for the club. At 18 years and 58 days, Endrick broke Raúl’s record, who scored at 18 years and 113 days, adding another chapter to the rising star’s promising career.
