Advice for Kylian Mbappe: Reject Real Madrid and Stay at PSG
Former Football Star Samir Nasri Advises Kylian Mbappe to Stay at PSG
The Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid saga has taken a new twist with Real Madrid issuing a statement denying any ongoing negotiations with the player. The French World Cup champion’s contract with PSG is set to expire, allowing him to enter into pre-contract agreements with other clubs from January.
One possible scenario is Mbappe joining Real Madrid as a free agent next summer. Liverpool has also been recently linked with the player, and it is rumored that they maintain contact with his representatives.
However, there is still a chance that Mbappe could extend his contract with PSG. Amidst all these uncertainties, former Arsenal and Manchester City player Samir Nasri has offered some advice to the World Cup winner.
Nasri told Journal du Dimanche, “He is from the Paris region. I would stay at PSG instead of going to Real Madrid to win the Champions League.”
From an objective standpoint, it’s unclear what more Mbappe has to achieve at PSG, as he has yet to win a UEFA Champions League title with the club. However, recent departures of key players like Lionel Messi, Neymar, Sergio Ramos, and Marco Verratti have weakened the team. Although PSG signed promising talents during the summer transfer window, the squad may not be as competitive as in previous seasons.
Whether Mbappe will heed Nasri’s advice remains uncertain. With less than a year left on his PSG contract, his future will be a topic of keen interest, particularly if he does not agree to an extension in the near future. PSG’s actions in the upcoming January transfer window will also be closely monitored.
