Real Madrid Eyes Goncalo Inacio as Eder Militao Replacement
Real Madrid is considering the acquisition of Goncalo Inacio in the upcoming January transfer window, as reported by Diario AS‘ Manu Sainz.
The Portuguese center-back is the prime candidate to fill in for Eder Militao, who might be sidelined until the end of the season due to injury.
Inacio boasts an impressive international record for Portugal. Despite playing as a center-back, he has already scored two goals and provided two assists in just four appearances for the senior national team, demonstrating his prowess with headers.
Apart from his aerial ability, Inacio is highly skilled in taking on opponents, as well as in passing and advancing the ball up the field.
At Sporting Lisbon, Inacio’s current release clause stands at €60 million, making him an attractive target. Notably, Liverpool and Manchester United have also expressed their interest in the 22-year-old defender.
