Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur Leading Race for €40 Million Striker

Real Madrid is in need of a long-term solution for their striker position after the departure of Karim Benzema. While Joselu has performed admirably when given the chance, it’s widely recognized that he may not be the answer for the club’s future. The club has been linked with several high-profile strikers, and Santiago Gimenez is one of the names generating significant interest.

However, Pagniello suggests that Inter and Juventus could be the best options for the young striker. He also noted the substantial increase in Gimenez’s value, rising from €10 million to €40 million in less than a year. Currently, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur are the clubs closest to securing his signature.

Tottenham Hotspur saw Harry Kane leave the club to join Bayern Munich this summer, and despite the departure of their star striker, they have excelled and currently lead the Premier League. Real Madrid has been active in signing promising young talent with profiles similar to Gimenez, and his impressive goal-scoring record of 15 goals in just 11 appearances this season places him among the best young strikers in Europe.
