“[On my first night in Madrid], I went to my hotel room and I couldn’t sleep because I was so excited,” Fabinho revealed to The Players’ Tribune. “Man, I remember it was so hot, and I didn’t know how to work the air conditioning. I just lay there in my underwear.
“Early the next morning, I heard someone knocking on my door. I was still groggy, and when I looked through the peephole and saw José Mourinho standing there with my agent, I couldn’t believe it.
“What the … Jose Mourinho is outside my hotel room???? I was so shocked I didn’t even think to put on any trousers.
