Arda Güler Warns Bayern of What’s Coming Against Madrid: ‘The First…’
The Real Madrid player sends a clear message to the Germans before their encounter this Tuesday in Munich.
Arda Güler has been the standout name within Real Madrid in recent hours after his impressive performance against Real Sociedad.
The young Turkish player, who scored a fine goal in that match, has been on fire both on and off the field, and he has made sure to send a clear message to Bayern Munich, the next opponents of the Whites in the Champions League semifinals starting this Tuesday.
“I want to be the first Turkish footballer to win the Champions League,” he confessed in remarks collected by ‘Kafa’.
What Modric Tells Him In addition to giving that warning to Bayern, making it clear that Madrid only thinks about victory, Güler also revealed a secret he has within the dressing room, with Luka Modric being one of the protagonists.
“Everyone at Real Madrid calls me ‘brother.’ It gets interesting when Modric or someone like that calls me ‘brother Arda’,” admits the Turkish player.
As if this weren’t enough, Güler pointed out that David Alaba often teases him when there are matches in Turkey because he has admitted that he has more affection for Galatasaray.
“David Alaba always jokes with me and says, ‘You are from Fenerbahçe, I am from Galatasaray’,” commented the young midfielder from Real Madrid.
