Eduardo Inda revealed on “El Chiringuito” one of the first decisions the new coach is set to make

Xabi Alonso, who had already requested Arda Güler’s loan to Bayer Leverkusen last summer, has reportedly played a key role in blocking the Turkish youngster’s departure in the current transfer window. Güler had been planning to leave on loan if Carlo Ancelotti remained in charge of Real Madrid.

“Arda asked to leave on loan if Ancelotti stayed. Even though ‘Carletto’ gave him more minutes toward the end of the season, the decision had been made for the next campaign. Now Xabi Alonso has personally requested that Güler stay at the club and has full confidence in his potential to become a world-class star in the near future,” revealed journalist Eduardo Inda from OK Diario on El Chiringuito.

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD FOR ARDA GÜLER?

Arda Güler’s future at Real Madrid seems to have taken a complete turn. Back in November, the young Turkish midfielder had made up his mind to leave the club at the end of the season if Ancelotti remained as manager. The lack of opportunities and his non-existent role in key matches led him to consider going out on loan.

Ancelotti’s departure has changed everything. Since his arrival, Arda Güler made it clear that his goal was to stay and succeed at Madrid, despite being just 18 years old and facing tough competition in the squad. He embraced the challenge of following the hard path in pursuit of his place in the first team — but the minutes never came.

XABI ALONSO’S ARRIVAL BRINGS HOPE

After two stop-start seasons at Real Madrid, the arrival of Xabi Alonso could mark a true turning point for Arda Güler. With the Basque coach now in charge, the midfielder’s situation is expected to change. While next season might not yet be his big breakout year, it is shaping up to be key to his development.

Under Alonso’s guidance, Arda Güler now has a real opportunity to grow and establish himself as one of the world’s brightest footballing talents. Without a doubt, he was one of the players who needed Ancelotti’s exit to finally take the next step in his career at the club.
