Vinicius Tips Off Florentino: “We Can Snatch Him from City for 100 Million”
Despite the transfer window being closed, rumors about player arrivals and departures continue to swirl in the football world, and they’re only expected to intensify in the coming weeks.
Real Madrid is focused on ‘storming’ Manchester and securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, which would be a significant statement given that Pep Guardiola’s side are the reigning champions of the competition.
This isn’t the only thing that the Blancos could take away from the Citizens, especially as Vinicius Jr. keeps pushing to ‘steal’ a player from Manchester City.
The Brazilian forward knows that his compatriot and friend, Lucas Paquetá, is close to joining the Manchester club for 100 million euros, coming from West Ham.
While the player is also on Juni Calafat’s list, he’s not the top priority at the moment, as Real Madrid’s targets for the 2024-2025 season are Kylian Mbappé and Alphonso Davies.
However, Vinicius Jr., who is usually well-informed, has hinted to Florentino Pérez, assuring him that “for 100 million, we can snatch him from Manchester City, and he’d be delighted to come to Real Madrid…”
