Thorgan Hazard’s Playful Nudge: Encouraging Eden to Join Union Saint-Gilloise

In a lighthearted exchange, Thorgan Hazard, while confirming his own move to Anderlecht, playfully suggested to his older brother, Eden, that he should consider signing with Union Saint-Gilloise.

As Thorgan informed Eden over a phone call, “It’s done. I just called Kylian [their younger brother who also plays in Belgium] to find out when we face RWDM. By the way, I’ll take the opportunity to ask you if you wouldn’t like to sign with Union Saint-Gilloise to face us.” The conversation prompted immediate laughter from both siblings.

Union Saint-Gilloise currently holds the sixth position in the Belgian Pro League, despite finishing as runners-up last season.

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard remains without a club since parting ways with Real Madrid during the summer. Despite receiving offers from Saudi Arabia and even the Premier League, the winger has opted not to commit to any contract.

Earlier this year, Hazard announced his retirement from the Belgium national team, but his official retirement from football is yet to be confirmed.
