The LaLiga club betting on Endrick

The young Brazilian’s future at Real Madrid looks increasingly uncertain and complicated.
Beyond all the headlines from the match at the Coliseum during LaLiga’s ninth round, one of the most talked-about names surrounding Real Madrid lately has been Endrick. Many expected to see him make his season debut after beginning warm-up exercises against Getafe — but that never happened.
Xabi Alonso ultimately chose to bring on Brahim Díaz and Gonzalo García, Endrick’s main competitor for the centre-forward spot, for the final substitutions of the match. That decision has deepened the growing uncertainty surrounding the young Brazilian striker, who continues to wait for his chance to show the quality that made Madrid invest in him.
Many fans assumed Alonso’s arrival would bring more opportunities for the 18-year-old, after he was left out of the rotation under Carlo Ancelotti. Yet the situation remains the same under the Basque coach.

Sevilla’s interest resurfaces
Several top European clubs are now exploring the possibility of signing Endrick on loan during the January transfer window. Among them, Sevilla have shown the strongest interest from LaLiga, hoping to offer him regular playing time and a key attacking role.
It’s not the first time the Andalusian side have approached Endrick’s camp. Real Sociedad and Juventus — who visit the Santiago Bernabéu this Wednesday — have also made enquiries. However, all previous attempts to start talks were quickly dismissed, as Real Madrid had hoped Alonso would integrate Endrick gradually during the first half of the season.
But with crucial fixtures approaching and the Brazilian still without minutes, Madrid’s stance appears to be changing. The club now considers that a short-term loan could help his development without cutting ties entirely.

A future still tied to Real Madrid
Like most of his suitors, Sevilla propose a loan until the end of the current campaign — an option reportedly viewed favourably by Madrid’s hierarchy. It would give Endrick time to regain rhythm ahead of the 2026 World Cup, while remaining under the club’s control.
A permanent exit, however, is off the table. Endrick is still regarded as a key long-term investment, envisioned as part of Madrid’s generational renewal up front. For now, Kylian Mbappé occupies the No. 9 role, but the Brazilian was signed as his eventual successor.
Still, the teenager faces a tough reality — sidelined first by Ancelotti, and now by Alonso. A temporary move away from the Bernabéu might be exactly what he needs to keep progressing.
