Spanish Fans Mock Vinicius Jr with ‘Beach Ball’ Chant and Offensive Dummy at Valencia Festival
The ongoing hostility towards Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr from some Spanish fans was once again on display during the recent Valencia Fallas festival.
During the event, a group of supporters chanted his name in an attempt to mock him, referring to him as “Beach Ball Vinicius” in light of his failure to win the 2024 Ballon d’Or.
Adding to the controversy, they unveiled an offensive dummy resembling the Brazilian winger, exaggerating his physical features with large buck teeth.
This incident is yet another example of the repeated targeting of Vinicius Jr, who has faced both racial abuse and mockery from rival fans in Spain.
