Real Madrid Set to Appoint Xabi Alonso as Manager for Next Season
Real Madrid has reportedly decided to appoint Xabi Alonso as their manager for the upcoming season, as revealed by Radio Marca.
Xabi Alonso has garnered recognition as one of the top managers in Europe, leading Bayer Leverkusen to impressive performances in the German Bundesliga and the Europa League. This season, his team has showcased their attacking prowess by scoring 29 goals in seven matches and securing six wins.
Under Alonso’s guidance, Bayer Leverkusen has played exciting and attacking football that proves difficult for opponents to contain. Alonso, who previously played for Real Madrid from 2009 to 2014, boasts a solid track record both as a player and now as a manager.
During his time as a player, the Spaniard also had a successful stint with Liverpool from 2004 to 2009 and went on to win the World Cup with the Spanish national team.
Carlo Ancelotti is expected to take on the role of Brazil’s national team manager in the summer, paving the way for Xabi Alonso to lead Real Madrid in the upcoming season.
