Real Madrid Loans Marvin Park to Las Palmas for a Consecutive Season
Young Wide Player Continues Developmental Journey with Las Palmas in La Liga
Real Madrid has extended a loan deal for emerging talent Marvin Park to Las Palmas, marking his second consecutive season with the club. The loan arrangement follows Park’s instrumental contribution to Las Palmas’ return to La Liga last year.
Primarily recognized as a winger during his development within Real Madrid Castilla, Park showcased his versatility under the guidance of Francisco Javier Garcia Pimienta. He took on the role of a right-back at certain points during the previous season, a position that might be his focus once again.
Las Palmas has confirmed that Park will join their ranks on loan, accompanied by an option for a permanent transfer. In the previous season, Las Palmas held a €2 million buyout option which they opted not to exercise. However, President Miguel Angel Ramirez has communicated that they have renegotiated this fee for the current agreement. The exact value of this new option, however, remains undisclosed at this time.
This strategic move will bolster Las Palmas’ right flank, enhancing their squad’s depth. Alongside Park, Alvaro Lemos, who also transitioned from a winger to a right-back, contributes to the options available. Additionally, Barcelona loanee Julian Araujo is in contention for the right-back position, aiming to outperform competitors like Park and Lemos to secure a starting role.
