Real Madrid Issues Warning to Kylian Mbappe: No Move if PSG Contract Extends Beyond 2024
According to Josep Pedrerol of El Chiringuito TV, Real Madrid has delivered a clear message to Kylian Mbappe. The club has informed him that they will not pursue his signature if he extends his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) beyond 2024.
Real Madrid’s position on this matter is unwavering: if Mbappe commits to a contract extension with PSG, he should disregard any hopes of a move to Real Madrid.
Los Blancos have chosen not to engage in any transfer drama involving the player this summer, as club president Florentino Perez did not authorize a bid for Mbappe.
Nevertheless, PSG placed him on the transfer market and excluded him from their squad due to his refusal to extend his existing contract.
In a significant gesture, Mbappe recently agreed to forgo a substantial portion of his loyalty bonus at PSG, amounting to nearly €100 million, in order to remain with the club. This act was seen as a sign of goodwill, leading to his swift reinstatement into the squad.
However, despite this, the 24-year-old has yet to formalize an extension of his contract, with sources indicating that he is seriously considering the option. Meanwhile, PSG remains steadfast in their insistence that he commits his signature to paper.
