Real Madrid Boasts La Liga’s Most Valuable Squad at €1.3 Billion+
Los Blancos comfortably outpace FC Barcelona and Atlético Madrid despite an inconsistent season
Real Madrid may not have enjoyed their most consistent campaign, but they still dominate Spanish football in terms of squad value. The club’s roster is currently valued at an impressive €1.327 billion, making it by far the most valuable team in La Liga.
Even with some ups and downs this season, the gap between Madrid and their closest rivals remains significant. With Álvaro Arbeloa now guiding the team back on track, those valuations could rise even further.
Clear gap over rivals
There is nearly a €200 million difference between Real Madrid and Barcelona. The Catalan side has increased its overall value by €57 million, reaching around €1.167 billion — but still falls well short of Madrid.
Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid sits far behind with a squad value of approximately €587 million, less than half of Real Madrid’s total.
Looking ahead, Madrid are expected to undergo a major squad overhaul next season, with structural changes likely to bring in younger talent and further boost overall value.

Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior lead the way
At the top of Madrid’s valuation list are Kylian Mbappé (€200M) and Vinícius Júnior (€150M), the team’s two most valuable players.
They are followed by:
- Jude Bellingham – €140M
- Federico Valverde – €120M
- Arda Güler – €90M
- Aurélien Tchouaméni – €75M
Further down the list, players like Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen are valued at €65M, while Rodrygo and Eduardo Camavinga currently sit at €50M.
Rising talents and surprising valuations
One of the standout breakthroughs is Thiago Pitarch, now valued at €20M — already surpassing several established first-team players such as Thibaut Courtois, Andriy Lunin, and Antonio Rüdiger.
Other notable names ahead of him include Éder Militão, Brahim Díaz, and Franco Mastantuono.
Age plays a key role in these valuations, which explains why some experienced players currently rank lower despite their importance on the pitch.
Barcelona’s top asset: Lamine Yamal
For Barcelona, Lamine Yamal leads the way with a valuation of €200M. He is followed by Pedri (€150M) and Fermín López (€100M).
At the opposite end, Robert Lewandowski is among the lowest-valued players in the squad at €8M, highlighting how age significantly impacts market value.
Financial strength remains Madrid’s advantage
Despite fluctuations in form, Real Madrid’s squad depth, youth, and star power ensure they remain financially dominant in Spain. With potential reinforcements and strategic changes on the horizon, the gap could widen even further in the coming seasons.
