Real Madrid are already shaping their squad for the 2026–27 season, and according to journalist Francisco José Delgado (Pacojó), three young players will be given a chance to impress during preseason: Nico Paz, Endrick, and Víctor Muñoz.

A return based on performance

The club is reportedly very satisfied with the development of all three players during their time away:

  • Nico Paz could return via a buy-back clause for around €9 million
  • Víctor Muñoz, one of the breakout names recently, could come back for roughly €8 million
  • Endrick, currently on loan at Olympique Lyonnais, will return automatically as there’s no purchase option

This reflects a clear strategy from the Madrid board: monitor young talent closely and bring them back when they are ready to compete at the highest level.

Florentino Pérez’s long-term vision

The potential return of these players is no coincidence. It aligns perfectly with Florentino Pérez’s transfer model:

  • Investing in young prospects
  • Including buy-back clauses in deals
  • Tracking their development closely

This approach has allowed Real Madrid to maintain a pipeline of emerging talent while reducing risk in the transfer market.

Youth policy remains key

Inside Valdebebas, there is strong belief in continuing to build a squad around youth, progression, and long-term potential. Nico Paz, Endrick, and Víctor Muñoz fit perfectly into that philosophy.

Their preseason involvement doesn’t guarantee a permanent spot in the first team, but it does give them a major opportunity to earn one.

Interest from FC Barcelona in Víctor Muñoz

Víctor Muñoz’s rise hasn’t gone unnoticed — even Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing him. Having previously been part of La Masía, a return to Catalonia would be a storyline to watch.

However, Real Madrid currently hold the advantage due to his contractual situation, especially while he plays for CA Osasuna.

A busy summer ahead

Regardless of how the current season ends, Real Madrid are preparing for a very active transfer window:

  • Reinforcements expected in midfield and defense
  • Possible departures alongside new arrivals
  • Increased competition within the squad

The return of these three young players could be just the beginning of a major squad reshaping — one that blends emerging talent with established stars.
