According to a report by Football Zebras (as reported by Managing Madrid), the prospect of an NFL fixture in Madrid is currently “all but confirmed for 2024.” While the specific venue for this inaugural match is yet to be finalized, the Santiago Bernabeu, home to Real Madrid, is reportedly the frontrunner, closely followed by Atletico Madrid’s Civitas Metropolitano.
The recent renovation of the Santiago Bernabeu, completed over the summer, has transformed it into a versatile, multi-purpose arena, making it an ideal candidate to host a wide range of events, including NFL matches.
Real Madrid is actively pursuing an agreement with the NFL to host matches at their iconic stadium.
