Mbappé’s Madridista Response to L’Équipe Regarding Contract Renewal: ‘Not Considering It Yet
As time ticks away, the noise surrounding the ‘Mbappé case’ continues to escalate, and it’s expected to intensify in the coming weeks.
Florentino Pérez and José Ángel Sánchez are patiently waiting for January 1, 2024, the date when the Parisian player will be free to negotiate and sign with the club of his choosing.
However, rumors, fake news, and biased reports persist, especially from French media outlets seemingly influenced by the directives of the club’s sports leadership.
This was evident in the latest report from ‘L’Équipe,’ which discussed the possibility of Kylian Mbappé renewing his contract with PSG.
Yesterday, the French outlet suggested that if the Bondy-born player extended his contract with the Parisian club, it would be for more than two years—an assertion that is far from the truth, at least for now.
Mbappé, at the moment, doesn’t consider this option, primarily because he is focused on preventing the reigning Ligue 1 champion’s elimination from the UEFA Champions League.
“We haven’t touched on that yet,” he conveyed to his inner circle after reading the information from ‘L’Équipe.’
Kylian Mbappé hasn’t decided what to do about his contract renewal and hasn’t ruled out realizing his long-standing dream of joining Real Madrid. For now, nothing is decided, but one thing is clear: his future lies in either Madrid or Paris. There are no other options on the table.
