Mbappé and Florentino’s Agreement: Penalty Clause for the Player if Broken

Tomás González-Martín, a journalist from El Debate, has raised the possibility that Real Madrid may already have some form of pre-agreement with Paris Saint-Germain’s star Kylian Mbappé, which could include a penalty clause if he backs out.

According to Tomás’s information, there are concerns within the Parisian club that such an agreement might exist. Hence, they have reportedly presented a new offer to Kylian Mbappé. Allegedly, PSG has proposed a three-season contract with an annual salary of 120 million euros, including sports and advertising bonuses. When combined with image rights, this would result in a total earnings of 300 million euros per season.

If true, it would be a staggering offer. However, according to the journalist, Real Madrid is not concerned because they believe that if the player genuinely chooses Real Madrid, it won’t be for money.

“Mbappé admits that he made a mistake two years ago by staying in Paris because his career has declined, and he no longer aspires to the Ballon d’Or or The Best award,” explained the journalist.

Keeping it under wraps The journalist also claims that if there were a signed agreement between the player and the Madrid club, both parties would maintain a high level of discretion, despite having every right to announce it.

They want to shield the player from potential anger or reproach from radical Paris Saint-Germain fans during the remaining six months of the season.
