Manchester United Offer Loan Swap for Endrick
The Premier League side reportedly proposed sending Mainoo on loan to Madrid in exchange for Endrick.
According to several online outlets, Manchester United are open to arranging a loan swap with Real Madrid during the upcoming winter transfer window. The English club are said to be willing to loan Kobbie Mainoo, a midfielder who has been on Madrid’s radar before, in exchange for Endrick joining United temporarily.
However, the young Brazilian seems more tempted by the idea of playing in France, with Lyon currently leading the race for his signature. Real Madrid, for their part, are not showing any real interest in Mainoo at the moment, meaning the proposed exchange is unlikely to go anywhere.
At this stage, Olympique de Marseille are pushing hardest to secure Endrick’s loan, though other French clubs have also shown interest. Endrick’s explosive power, shot strength, and eye for goal make him an appealing option for any team. Even in the limited minutes he played during his debut season, he showed glimpses of his immense talent. What he needs now is regular playing time and a coach willing to back him.
Patience and Perspective
Real Madrid still view Endrick as an important part of their long-term project, but with Kylian Mbappé and Gonzalo García ahead of him in the pecking order, his opportunities under Xabi Alonso will be scarce this season. After an open conversation with the manager and the club’s hierarchy, both parties agreed that a loan move until the end of the season would be the best step for his development.
The same applies to Mainoo at United, where the young midfielder is struggling for minutes.
