Macron Reenters Mbappé’s Transfer Saga: Florentino Knows His Response

Real Madrid fears Macron will attempt to convince Kylian Mbappé to stay once again.

When the player was seriously tempted by Real Madrid and the prospect of fulfilling his childhood dream, Macron called him multiple times, emphasizing how important it would be for France and Paris if he stayed with the club for a few more years.

In Real Madrid, there’s a belief that Macron could try to convince him once again this time. In fact, the French president has already spoken about Kylian Mbappé recently in an interview.

“Mbappé is a great footballer. Will I talk to him about his future? I am not his agent. First, I wish him a happy birthday. He is a great athlete, the captain of the French national team, leading this group. In 2024, we have a Eurocup that I hope to win,” responded Macron during an interview on December 20.

There is hope Real Madrid is confident that this time Kylian Mbappé won’t be swayed by Macron or Qatar. They want him to show that he genuinely wants to play for the greatest club in history.

After enduring months without renewing, and considering the episodes from previous seasons, the Madrid club has hope, but they won’t fully trust until there’s a signed agreement.
