Luka Modric Remains Committed to Real Madrid Despite Reduced Playing Time
Recent speculation surrounding Luka Modric’s future at Real Madrid has emerged following the 38-year-old’s admission of unhappiness with his limited squad role this season.
Although Modric had been a consistent starter for the majority of his 11-year tenure at the club, he has found himself on the bench this season, with head coach Carlo Ancelotti favoring Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano in his exclusive column for CaughtOffside, Modric has no intentions of leaving Real Madrid: “Despite a lack of playing time recently, Luka Modric’s plan is very clear – he wants to win at Real Madrid and keep fighting for the club of his life. Modric turned down very important proposals from Saudi Arabia this summer because he wanted to stay, and that remains the plan. He’ll fight for his place, and at the moment, there’s nothing else happening.”
While Modric’s future beyond this season remains uncertain, including speculation of a possible return to Dinamo Zagreb, for now, he remains fully committed to Real Madrid and aims to continue contributing to the club’s success.
