Karim Benzema Faces Accusation of Links with The Muslim Brotherhood
Throughout his playing career, Karim Benzema has found himself embroiled in various controversies, often tied to on-field incidents. However, his latest predicament involves a grave accusation made by a member of the French government.
Gerald Darmanin, France’s Interior Minister, during an interview with CNews, has asserted that Benzema has connections with The Muslim Brotherhood, an organization recognized as a terrorist group by numerous countries, as reported by MD.
“Mr. Karim Benzema has well-known links, as we all know, with the Muslim Brotherhood.”
As of now, Benzema has not issued a response to Darmanin’s statement, but given his history of speaking out on matters, it’s likely that he will address this accusation in due course.
Remarkably, this isn’t the first time Benzema has been in the spotlight this week. He faced harsh criticism when former La Liga goalkeeper Dudu Aouate called him a “son of a b****” after the Frenchman expressed support for Palestine amid ongoing tensions with Israel.
