Jude Bellingham Spotted Vacationing with Girlfriend in Italy
The Real Madrid star is enjoying some time off in Sardinia as he recovers from shoulder surgery, with hopes of returning for the Madrid Derby in late September.
Jude Bellingham is making the most of his recovery period by enjoying a holiday in Sardinia, Italy, with his girlfriend before rejoining Real Madrid training sessions.
The English midfielder underwent surgery on his left shoulder shortly after the FIFA Club World Cup and is now working toward full fitness, with anticipation building over his return to action under new manager Xabi Alonso this season.
According to Sergio Quirante of DAZN, Bellingham’s comeback could coincide with the highly anticipated Madrid Derby against Atlético de Madrid on September 28.
“Bellingham doesn’t yet have a confirmed date for his return, but Real Madrid is targeting the derby as a possible match for him to step back onto the pitch,” Quirante revealed.
Quirante also emphasized the midfielder’s importance:
“He’s a marquee signing for Xabi’s midfield. What I’ve been told is that Bellingham will start training with the squad after the international break, and if all goes well, we could see him feature in that derby.”
If these reports hold true, late September could mark Bellingham’s much-anticipated comeback.
Mbappé Takes the Spotlight
While Bellingham remains a crucial figure, Kylian Mbappé appears to be emerging as Real Madrid’s leader this season under Alonso’s guidance.
“Vinícius and Bellingham are both highly valued within the club,” Defensa Central reported. “However, both are expected to step up this season after a trophyless 2024/25 campaign.”
