Florent Malouda Predicts Inevitable Mbappe Transfer to Real Madrid

Former France star Florent Malouda has stated that Kylian Mbappe’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is a certainty. Mbappe, who has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, could leave PSG before 2024 if the club decides to sell him.

Mbappe has already made it clear that he will not activate a contract extension clause, which would have extended his stay at PSG from 2024 to 2025. With this in mind, Mbappe is set to begin preseason training in July, amid a growing belief that he will join Real Madrid on a free transfer in 2024.

PSG will evaluate the situation in the coming weeks, and the Les Bleus captain carries a hefty €200 million price tag. Malouda, echoing reports from Marca, is convinced that Mbappe’s move to Madrid will materialize within the next 12 months.

“It’s only a matter of time before Mbappe joins Madrid. He had the opportunity to make the move last summer but chose to extend his contract with PSG. Therefore, it wouldn’t surprise me if an agreement is reached in the future for his departure from PSG,” said Malouda.
