Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo Apologizes for Hacked Tweet Criticizing Real Madrid Defender Nacho Fernandez
Barcelona and Real Madrid are fierce rivals, and it seems even their players can’t resist a little bit of banter. During Real Madrid’s match against Liverpool, Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo tweeted a criticism of Real Madrid’s Nacho Fernandez, suggesting he had made a mistake.
However, he quickly deleted the tweet and claimed his account had been hacked. Ironically, Nacho went on to have a great game, shutting down Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
The two players may face off next week, with a strong possibility of Araujo being deployed to deal with Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior. With Alaba and Mendy potentially out, Nacho may have to continue playing on the left side of defence.
