While Ramón’s report is entirely accurate, it’s understandable that either the player’s camp or even Real Madrid itself would prefer to deny it to Fabrizio, to prevent the news from going viral just hours before the match in Manchester.

Carlo Ancelotti would have preferred to avoid this leak because he believes it’s not the right time for this to come out when the team is competing in the Champions League. It’s not something that affects the team much, as the young Turkish prospect is unlikely to play in the match.
