Ancelotti Secures Emergency Replacement for Alaba: Florentino Gives the Green Light

Carlo Ancelotti has already secured a contingency plan to replace David Alaba.

Real Madrid is in need of reinforcements in the transfer market for a third center-back to serve as a backup for Nacho and Rüdiger in case of any unforeseen circumstances. Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti has devised a strategy.

While Nacho and Rüdiger are set to be the starting center-backs, Carlo Ancelotti believes that Aurélien Tchouaméni can also perform admirably in that role when either of the two is unavailable due to accumulated yellow cards, suspension, or any form of discomfort.

Although the Frenchman may not prefer to play as a central defender, he always prioritizes the team above all else. If Ancelotti needs him in that position, Tchouaméni will gladly step in. However, he believes that playing in central defense may not allow him to fully showcase his potential.

The Italian coach sees Tchouaméni as having excellent qualities to become a great central defender. This situation is reminiscent of Camavinga’s role on the left flank; while he performs well there, he prefers and excels more in the midfield.

In the meantime, the club is actively exploring the transfer market to find a center-back who fits into the project. They have been searching for players in this position for several months, but now they must refine their search even further.

The possibility of securing a loan deal until the end of the season is not ruled out. In fact, the club believes that this would be the best option for Real Madrid at the moment, especially since Eder Militao is set to return from injury in a few months.
