Ancelotti Addresses Rodrygo’s Struggles in Tight Spaces After Union Berlin Clash
Following Real Madrid’s hard-fought 1-0 victory over Union Berlin, Carlo Ancelotti discussed Rodrygo’s performance in the match and the challenges he faced in tight spaces.
Ancelotti acknowledged the difficulties Rodrygo encountered, stating, “For Rodrygo, these games are more complicated. He’s very good when there’s more space on the pitch, but here there are smaller spaces.”
The Real Madrid manager noted that Rodrygo was unfortunate not to score in several situations during the game. Despite the limited space provided by the opponents, the Brazilian forward had a few chances but was unable to convert them.
Rodrygo has not found the back of the net for Real Madrid since the opening game of the season against Athletic Bilbao. In this particular match, Jude Bellingham’s late goal secured a 1-0 victory for Real Madrid.
