Alphonso Davies’ Official Response to His Transfer to Madrid: ‘I feel c…’

Alphonso Davies has reacted to the rumors that already place him as a Real Madrid player.

The Canadian full-back is well aware of Real Madrid’s interest. However, he still has almost a year and a half left on his contract, so he has to continue acting as such.

As much as Davies may consider leaving Bayern, his contract lasts until June 30, 2025. Additionally, this season, he needs to compete to win as many titles as possible. He needs to stay focused on his current club, and he has made that clear.

“I feel very comfortable with my team. I play for a great team, one of the best clubs in Europe,” he recently said when asked about the possibility of leaving the German club.

He doesn’t want to mention either Real Madrid or any other club that may have some interest in him. David Alaba did the same when he signed for Real Madrid. In January, everything was already closed, but he wanted to hide and disguise it until the end of the season.

While it’s true that the Austrian defender had a different contractual situation, he was already determined to sign for Madrid and kept it all hidden, even generating rumors about possible moves to other teams.

Real Madrid is very optimistic about Davies’ arrival. They believe that if he holds out without extending his contract, in May, Bayern Munich will be willing to reach an agreement to sell him and thus avoid him leaving as a free agent in 2025.
