Alphonso Davies Eager to Join Real Madrid, Negotiations Underway

Alphonso Davies is reportedly enthusiastic about the prospect of joining Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Canadian winger is reportedly eager for a move in 2024, one year before his current contract expires.

According to Spanish outlet AS, Real Madrid is actively seeking to bolster one of their positional weaknesses on the field. Bayern Munich has made multiple attempts to extend Davies’ contract but without success. They took proactive steps by signing Raphael Guerreiro last summer as a contingency plan should the Canadian international depart.

Diario AS has reported that Bayern Munich has set an asking price of €50 million for Davies. However, Real Madrid is inclined to negotiate for a transfer fee in the range of €40-45 million, as it currently stands.

Negotiations between the two clubs are underway as Davies eyes a move to the Spanish giants in 2024.
