Real Madrid Open to Letting Endrick Leave on Loan in January

Endrick

The Brazilian teenager could be sent out temporarily to gain minutes, though the player and his entourage prefer to stay at the Bernabéu.

Speculation grew in recent days after Federico Pena, agent of both Vinícius Júnior and Endrick, was seen at Real Madrid’s training base in Valdebebas. Many assumed the meeting was about Vinícius’ contract situation. However, according to El Partidazo de COPE, the talks instead focused on Endrick’s future.

Pena reportedly met with Juni Calafat, Madrid’s head of scouting, to discuss the 18-year-old forward’s lack of playing time. The club is considering a loan move without a purchase option, to ensure Endrick gains valuable minutes. While Madrid remain confident in his talent, the player’s camp is reluctant, insisting he should continue fighting for his place at the Bernabéu.

Limited Opportunities So Far

Last season, Endrick featured in 37 matches but only surpassed 45 minutes in seven of them, scoring seven goals. This year, his chances may be even more restricted following the emergence of Gonzalo, a new competitor for attacking minutes.

A muscle injury picked up after the Club World Cup also hindered his momentum, further complicating his battle for a regular role in Xabi Alonso’s squad.

Confidence in His Talent

Despite the challenges, Endrick remains confident in his ability to eventually prove himself at Real Madrid. Whenever given opportunities under Carlo Ancelotti last season, he made an impact by creating chances or finding the net.

Under Xabi Alonso, who appears more open to rotation, the young Brazilian could showcase his versatility—either as a central striker or drifting wide. Now fully recovered from injury, Endrick is determined to seize every chance in training and hopes to earn more minutes in the coming fixtures.
