Despite this, City has remained attentive to his situation, viewing him as a key addition to their attack following Julián Álvarez’s move to Atlético Madrid.
However, City may now face even tougher competition, as another European giant has set its sights on Rodrygo. Liverpool is reportedly preparing a serious offer for him in the upcoming transfer window.
The Reds are bracing for the potential departure of Mohamed Salah, whose contract renewal remains uncertain. While Liverpool wants to keep him, the Egyptian seems inclined to leave. In this scenario, Rodrygo is seen as the ideal replacement.
Rodrygo Unlikely to Leave Despite Renewed Interest
