Real Sociedad Eye Loan Move for Arda Guler This Summer – Reports
Real Sociedad are looking to secure a loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler this summer. The young Turkish talent has struggled for game time under Carlo Ancelotti and is open to a temporary move to gain more minutes.
Guler, who joined Madrid in 2023, has faced injury setbacks and intense competition for a starting spot. At 20, both he and the club believe a loan move could aid his development.
According to Fichajes, Real Sociedad have already approached Madrid about a potential deal, aiming to offer Guler regular playing time in La Liga next season.
While Bundesliga sides RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt have also shown interest, Guler prefers to remain in Spain. Talks between Madrid and Sociedad are ongoing, with discussions possibly extending to Real Sociedad’s star midfielder, Martín Zubimendi.
