Neither Davies, nor Kimmich, nor Musiala: Real Madrid is going after another Bayern star.

The Spanish giants shift their focus to the German winger as Bayern prepares for a squad overhaul

Many Bayern Munich players have been linked to Real Madrid over the years. While some were genuine targets, the Spanish club seemed to have looked away from Bavaria in recent seasons. However, with Bayern Munich planning significant changes for the upcoming season, Real Madrid could seize the opportunity to sign one of their top stars.

Ahead of the next transfer window, Bayern is reportedly open to selling Leon Goretzka, Kingsley Coman, and Serge Gnabry—three high-profile players who no longer fit into the club’s restructuring plans. Among these, Real Madrid has shown particular interest in securing the services of Gnabry.

From Bavaria to Madrid

After spending eight seasons at Bayern Munich, Serge Gnabry has become an icon for the Bavarian club’s supporters. At 29, the German winger continues to perform under manager Vincent Kompany’s guidance. Although his contract runs until the summer of 2026, Bayern Munich has decided that now is the right time to part ways.

In an effort to generate profit before potentially losing him for free, Bayern is open to listening to offers. While Real Madrid has yet to submit a formal bid, the club is expected to make a move soon.

The German Star

Having spent months scouting Bayern Munich players, Real Madrid appears to be closing in on a deal for Gnabry. Nevertheless, given his quality, the Spanish club is prepared for competition from other teams that might attempt to intervene in the transfer.

Always on the lookout for top talents, Real Madrid sees Gnabry as a solid addition to their attacking lineup. Despite having other Bayern players available, the club considers the German winger to be the most suitable option.
