Mbappé and His Father Assist Florentino in Signing Arsenal’s Star: Valued at 80 Million
The signing of Kylian Mbappé will have a much greater impact than it seems because Real Madrid will not only add a forward: they will also enhance their presence in the ‘cases’ of other elite footballers.
One of the most anticipated operations in the upcoming summer transfer window is the arrival of Kylian Mbappé at Real Madrid. The potential addition of the Bondy striker to the Madridista ranks is already making its effects felt even before it is officially confirmed. But not directly.
The English outlet TeamTalk, featuring journalists like Fabrizio Romano, has reportedly pointed out two names for the Madrid agenda: William Saliba and Malick Thiaw. Both center-backs, according to information from England, could find themselves in the Santiago Bernabéu locker room… despite Leny Yoro seeming to have established himself as the priority to strengthen that position.
Between the Arsenal defender and AC Milan’s, Saliba would be in the lead. Not because of his ties to Real Madrid, but due to his connection with the Mbappé family. Besides being born in the same place as Kylian Mbappé, the Parisian suburb of Bondy, Saliba was coached by Wilfried Mbappé during his early steps in elite football.
This bond between the Mbappés and William Saliba could facilitate the French defender’s arrival at Real Madrid… provided that Florentino Pérez considers it a feasible operation. The Mbappé family would act as an extraordinary aid to complete a transfer that would significantly drain the Santiago Bernabéu’s coffers.
Because Arsenal’s management is pleased with Saliba’s performance: Mikel Arteta has made him the leader of the North London defense and he is one of the stars of English football. Additionally, his current market value is set at 80 million euros: the Emirates Stadium offices could demand a transfer fee of at least 100 million euros to let him go.
